Linda Miller-Dowie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW0003011) in the state of Florida and has served the
Jacksonville social services community since 1980. She is certified as a Diplomate by the Academy of Certified
Clinical Sexologists, a member of the American Academy of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and a member of
the National Association of Social Workers. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University’s Psychology
Department and was the Valedictorian of her Florida State University Jacksonville Campus, MSW class. She
has completed advanced training with Francine Shapiro, Ph.D., in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and
is a Certified Consultant of the EMDR International Association. She is also a Diplomate of the American
Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Master Neuro Linguistic Program practitioner. In
addition she is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and past President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the American
Society for Training and Staff Development (ASTD). She is an active member
of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies and serves the Christian Psychotherapy Network Referral Service
as the exclusive provider of services in Jacksonville. She also serves as one of a select few to serve Anheuser-Busch Employee
Assistance Programs in Jacksonville.
Linda is a mother of three and a grandmother of three!
She loves reading, growing orchids, gardening, crocheting, travel with her husband, Craig, photography and serving the elderly
in volunteer services through her church. She looks forward to working with you!!
